Born in Strasbourg France in 1976.
Of Gypsy roots through his mother, he started playing piano at the age of 4.
Two years later, after listening to a Yo-Yo Ma concert, he decided to start cello.
He learnt from the best teachers and graduated from the Schola Cantorum of Paris in
1999 where he received the first prize.
Robin Dupuy’s performances ranged from classical live to fashion shows, including commercials and
movie soundtrack.
He plays on a Lambert cello of 1760.
